Just finished uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the hunter girl's chap 1. Moving onto the young medicine dude next. I'm digging it more now that I have more than one character.

 

Bleh. Took over 60 attempts but I finally stole that damn axe.

Also wandered into a cave yesterday and the very first encounter was a Chubby Cait. Managed to kill it and everyone jumped like 5 levels lol

 

Love those things. There are a few different types that trigger different effects and they are all amazing.

 

For those wondering about the Forbidden weapons, they are insanely powerful weapons that can only be purchased from certain NPCs by Tressa. I think they start to appear in Chapter 2.

ive heard that its basically does everything right where xenoblade fails at, ill eventually get to it, I have a HUGE back catalog rn and its only gonna get bigger with the megaman X collection coming out this week

 

I got an alert that is had shipped yesterday and was so fucking giddy. Cannot wait.

 

Got the Golden Axe from the old man after like...48 attempts or something? Didn't take too long, though, and so far has been super useful. Pretty much solidified Alfyn as a party mainstay for awhile. Past that I'm still going through everyone's chapter 1 - had a friend in from out of town this past weekend so I haven't gotten much time in unfortunately.

I purchased 3 of the Forbidden Weapons yesterday (sword, bow, dagger) with Tressa. Holy crap do they hit hard!

I just added the Thief to my party. I'm not very far. Haven't even finished Chapter 1 of all the characters yet.

 

I'm at 30 hours and I still have two Chapter 2 stories left lol

 

Haha holy shit. That's kind of good to know there's a lot to do and a good amount of time to spend in this game.

 

Yep I'm 44 hours in and only completed a few chapter 3's. I'm overpowered as fuck cause that's how I always roll in RPGs

 

What was your strategy for grinding?

 

Hmm well I think the most important thing is I use a lot of the nsrchsnt skills to collect money in battles. This game has really powerful weapons that youvhave to pay a lot for I always have a lot of money. As far as grinding i have no special strategy, but like I said, get that money. The collect ability and later down the road the Merchants divine skill can get you so much money.

 

Using Arrowstorm on every single enemy is the best way to grind.
