You don't choose jobs based on skills and party composition, you choose them based on sprites. Everyone remembers Tressa hunter from the first one:
I also thought the warden was kinda tough lol also I keep forgetting to heal up after battles, Chained Echoes really spoiled me with the auto healing
some of the first chapter bosses can trip you up but I haven’t had much trouble with any chapter 2’s. I did explore a bit and over leveled for some tho.
I had the complete opposite problem in the first game where the gap between the chapter 2 and 3 level requirements was so big I wasn’t anywhere near where I needed to be to start chapter 3
also as much as I love Osvlad I really wish I would’ve made partitio my main he’s the best character of the lot by far
It's hard NOT having Osvald in my main party, he just nukes mobs left and right. And yeah some of the first bosses were tough. Cassti's in particular.
Managed to sneak into the Cave of Waves (level 45 area) and use Ochette's capture ability to capture a Light Revenant. Combining Partitio with the Full Power ability (starts with Latent Power gauge full) and then immediately using Donate BP to give Ochette full BP to summon a maxed Light Revenant to deal 9,999 to all enemies is proving to be an effective method for grinding. The 'A Step Ahead' ability from the Inventor class is also necessary for this.
Yeah leave her starting town and it's literally in the first zone, go north a little across a bridge and then east to a house and the guy is in there. It works different than other jobs, there are items you have to bring him to unlock new skills instead of using JP to buy them. Sort of a fetch quest system. In other news, I bought the boat and I'm wreaking havoc on the high seas
I feel like the boats gonna take forever I’ve got 16k leaves and I wanna upgrade a lot of weapons and equipment still
30 hours clocked with Osvlad at level 31. rest of my party ranges 20-29 so I’ve got some catching up to do for aome
tempted to pick this up on ps5 and pair a controller to my iPad for bed play at night. I haven't turned my switch on in like 2 years haha
I play my switch more than any other gaming thing I own but I don’t have a current gen console just a PC and an Xbox one
