This is the ONE federal and state program left standing that forces native children into white homes that mock native culture.

Do a little research into this topic and see how the federal and state governments are consistently ripping culture from babies, and calling it progress.

Edit: not saying there aren't bad parents, just saying it's bullshit that kids are purposefully ripped from extended family (who are more than capable of giving care, and love), and that it takes a year or more for the kids to be given back, if we ever get to see them again.

 

I know this is not in many of your parent less wheelhouses, but wtf? This is some of the most disgusting racism and discrimination on earth...maybe even worse than mass incarceration because it targets the young, AND their families.

There are laws like icwa, that are supposed to prevent these slow moving atrocities....but like always states rights is used as an excuse for inhumanity, destruction of family, destruction of culture, destruction of self respect.....and the ultimate destruction of self determination, and self.
