seeing this band live is the closest i think i've gotten to the brown note

 

also their guitarist looks exactly like Chris Pratt it's almost horrifying

I like the vocal production a lot on the new record

I really like this new record a lot

 

This album is almost like they took all of the super dark songs by the Dear Hunter and expanded on them

 

ya the new record is still top 5 for me

 

this band live is a must see
used to have my favorite live set of all time when i saw them open the color spectrum tour pre garden window. just blew me away for half an hour
seen them something like six times now, always a blast.
haven't cared to listen to the new record since it came out but they definitely made those new songs very good live

 

Yeah this is such a great band live. Saw em a couple of times in 2012 when they opened for Thrice's farewell tour and when they were on the Triple Crown tour. Finally caught them again earlier this year with Frameworks and they blew me away. Absence is fucking unreal live

I'd love to catch this band live. I almost did when they toured with Circa, B&C and Touché and a few years ago but my date got cancelled. And I just haven't been able to make it to a show since.

 

I saw them once right before they put out Garden Window and there was like 10 people there including the bar staff and the opening band. Was awesome.

I'm guessing Native broke up? I've heard rumors, but that's all. Their last album was great.

 

They haven't done anything in two years. they have broken up

them bowing their bass on old songs was the first time i was legitimately musically blown away at a live show

seeing them tomorrow at a local record shop right down the street. store is incredibly tiny and tickets were 12 bucks. i am so excited but also so terrified that they are going to legitimately bring the small store walls down with their sound.
