I can't believe how much Endless Light has grown on me.

 

Absolutely loving the new album now. This is their best work by far, without a doubt in my mind.

 

Garden Window will forever be my favorite of theirs but this album rules. Haven't been able to get into tracks 8-10 as much as the rest of the album.

 

I love the back half of the album actually. The stretch from Bloodlines to I Am (Become Death) is so strong

 

I love the whole damn thing!

 

And it's true the chemistry is leaking out. I saw it dripping from the corners of your fickle mouth.

 

saw these guys open for The Dear Hunter last night and was totally not expecting what I heard haha. So heavy.

 

I just saw these guys back in March or April but I need to see them again already haha. Great live band.

 

Caspian told us to come see O'Brother again when they'd play in mpls this spring, but the closest they came was Iowa :(

 

this is old but so good.

 

Spinning Endless Light for the first time in awhile. Its def right up there with GW now for me.

 

Endless Light has definitely become my favorite release from this band. I still love Garden Window a ton, but this album really hits the sweet spot. Everything is so tight and not a single moment feels wasted.

 

I think Endless Light is the most consistent O'Brother record.

Garden Window is still my favorite, but i mean, ive been listening to for 5 years.

2016’s Midyear Best #10: o’brother

The dudes in o'brother were kind enough to retweet this link earlier today, one of their fans chimed in and told me that I'd misspelled "#1", hahahhaah

 

It was my #1 until Thrice came along. Haha.

 

Likewise now #2 lol

 

Surprisingly enough, Thrice isn't my #1 either. O'brother has been moving up and down the list, I could've been happy to place it much higher.

 

Don't really do lists buy if I did I'd probably be surprised if this wasn't in my top 5

 

I've really been sleeping on Endless Light and it's so excellent and loud and sludgy and beautiful.
