I really respect this band but I definitely prefer Garden Window to what's come after it. I've bought all of their records, I just haven't connected to Disillusion and Endless Light as much. I know that's an unpopular opinion, but I love the sound in Garden Window and the repeated lyrics that mine their way into your head. Everything about that record is perfect to me. I don't know if I found Disillusion/Endless Light a bit too heavy or something like that.

So more piano kind of perks my interest.

 

I adore Garden Window, but I’ve never connected with it. I hope that changes at some point! However, Endless Light just encapsulates atmospheric rock music soooo well and it’s like they made that record specifically catering to my music taste

 

That piano snippet sounded so good. From what that blurb said it sounds like piano will be all over the record. Which is fantastic since they’ve always said Radiohead was a big influence on them.
