Bumped Endless Light for the first time in forever today. Shit still slaps. They better drop a new record this year
it was foggy af tonight so I went for a walk and put on Disillusion and now I'm not sure I can listen to this album any other way
Strange to see such a personal association expressed by someone else. When Disillusion first came out I gave it a front to back listen driving through the florida everglades on a particularly foggy night. It's a route I take at least twice a year and almost exclusively at night (traffic-free night drives are absolutely therapeutic) and this album has become mandatory listening when I hit a very specific stretch of road. The vibe feels almost intentional (a la QOTSA's Songs for the Deaf and driving desert highways).
you can probably tell but I've been listening to this band a shit ton as of late i've decided this is the single best performance of any single song in Audiotree history
The piano clips Tanner has been posting on his Instagram sound so good. If not O’Brother I’d love a solo Tanner album with tons of piano
Tanner’s solo record is so good. Wish it was on Apple Music. At least it wasn’t the last time I checked
