Just came to post this. I haven't seen these guys since 2012 and that needs to change on their next tour.
Really captures the mood of that song. Can't wait to have this to come back to. Interesting that this is today when Sinai vessel also was live right before
I was first introduced to this band when they opened for Thrice (I think?). Anyhow, I don't think I had ever heard of them at the time, it was like six years ago, and I was instantly captivated.
yup, you can usually watch the videos on youtube and listen on spotify/download about a month after the livestream.
Was bummed to have missed this because of my commute to school. What all did they play? Hoping it was just a bunch of Endless Light songs
I've been listening to this band a lot lately, specifically Endless Light. This album is incredible. I feel like it's become one of my favorite albums of all time since its release. This feels like their most consistent album. Everything is so tight and not a moment feels wasted. I know their longer songs are among fans' favorites, but I think this album really benefits from being on the shorter side. It just keep pummeling you over and over until you get to the ambient outro of Realm Of The Physical when you finally get a chance to breathe and take in everything that you just listened to.
Had a good chat with Jordan and Michael last night. We can expect a new record from them later in the year and hopefully one more North American tour that they are in the middle of trying to set up.
Amazing news. The tour alone has me excited. I have my doubts about getting a new album later this year, but I'm even more excited that they're thinking/planning on it already
They said they are taking a break from touring after the Biffy Clyro tour to write and record with plans to get it out this year. Doesn't have much room for error.
Hey, more power to em if they can write/record the whole thing and get it released in the fall. I'm certainly not opposed to that. I just also wouldn't surprised if it ended up being an early 2018 release
