Idk if there is a concept, but it's a really great album which is a concept good enough for me. Will probably land in my top 10 for the year

 

i just love this band - theyre so good at what they do. i wish i could see them some day but i dno if itll happen because of where i live.

 

RIYL for these guys? Have heard about them from some friends and people online but never really thought to check them out.

 

I connect and identify with Disillusion at such a deep level, that record will always be special to me.

 

Damn I hope you see them some day, they're my most seen band and get better every time, caught em the other week on the DEP tour

 

I believe it's all about death. I think Tanner's uncle was dying or died of cancer during the writing and recording.

I'm not making this up. He shared about it somewhere at some point. I think Instagram.

Need to listen to this band more, every time I do I like them more than the previous time

 

Revisiting this, and I can't picture it not falling in my top 5 of the year. I pretty much listen to Your Move constantly, but revisiting the whole thing is nice. Forgot about how infectious the chorus to Complicated End Times is.

 

Yeah this album still holds up well for me. The back half of this album is so strong.

Garden Window turned 5 years old yesterday. Such an important album to me and it certainly holds up.

 

Same, I love O'Brother and like the past two albums, but nothing hits me like Garden Window does still. Seeing them open for Thrice at one of my first ever shows in college still sticks with me to this day.

 

I'm with you. Garden Window was an exceptional album.

 

This LP is still right up there in my top 5 of the year. Love it.

I have an O'Bro poster circa 2012 that has an old man's face being taken over by a treehouse/forest design and it's one of my favorite band merch items. Would like to start shifting over from band shirts to posters in the future.

 

I feel like I'm in the same boat since I started redecorating the walls in my basement, which is where my drum set is

 

I've had an idea to "frame" some of the band shirts that no longer fit me, but I have no idea if that would actually look good or not lol.

 

That sounds cool. Mind sharing a pic?

 

It's currently in storage at the moment, I'll try to dig it out in the next few days.

 

I have one, as well, hanging behind my computer monitor.
