I don't need 2 copies of this, but I do like that second pressing.

 

The second pressing is gorgeous but I like how the first fits the artwork

 

I'm a sucker for when bands press their albums on coloured vinyl that complements the album art in simple or more complex ways, yeah. This is REALLY good so far.

 

Agreed, my copy of Pneuma by Moving Mountains does something similar and it’s really cool. The O’Brother one looks like an oil spill.

is that because of the release date?

 

Maybe this is the reason that I like this one the most out of anything they put out.

 

Bought this at midnight, just now listening to it over the echoes of my kids playing through the house. Weird juxtaposition of sounds and all, I love it.

I think Killing Spree might still be my fav on here, it's just breathtaking in the context of the album

 

I've tried so many times to get in to o'brother and there are elements I like but they've just been a bit dense/sludgy. This album is something else.
Its so beautiful. I've listened three times through and noticing new things each time. I ordered the 2nd press even though being in the UK it cost be 44 dollars. Totally worth it

 

I love all the piano, classical guitar, and electronic elements. Such a good move for them.

 

After y'all listen to this, y'all should check out the new Tigerwine album 'Nothing is for you'. A
I think a good portion of obro fans will enjoy it.

See, I found that with their last two albums but not Garden Window or The Death of Day. I am finding this to be great so far as well.

 

Did you give their last album endless light a chance?

 

Weird. I’ve re-loaded and updated the cloud over and over and it still won’t show up. But I’m finding it’s not just this album - i added the new drake to my Mac and it’s not showing up in my phone library either.
