I’m not even talking about this show, I just mean canonically lol. Lars knows he became Darth Vader. You’d think he’d get out of dodge incase he showed up one day.
“You know I heard a rumor Lord Vader has a relative on Tatooine. Why don’t we just invade and check it out?” “Oh no, don’t bring up the sand planet to him please for the love of god”
The best part about this show is Reva and her character is given some trash dialogue. Kenobi some how has done nothing of interest in his own show. They took him away from the one thing he swore to do (protect Luke) and are not even making it worth while, imo. Should have just been Kenobi staying on Tattooine and protecting Luke/arguing with Owen/breaking up local crime lords.
Idk I’m kinda glad it’s planet hopping a little since Boba Fett was already tattoine and crime lords.
After episode 4 I'm still in the same boat, but I hope the last couple can end the show (season?) on a high note at least.
I think some of the CGI and overall character costume designs have been questionable which's crazy to comprehend given the 25m an episode budget. The speeders at the end of the last episode looked very bad, TESB did it much better. And lets not forget the Inquisitor which ended up looking more Star Trek than Star Wars... Overall I am enjoying it though, mainly because of Ewan McGregor and the actress playing Leia. Moses Ingram's character Reva is also pretty well written as well.
It amazes me that the show can have such cool moments (Kenobi in the dark with his lightsaber) but also slapping a stormtrooper in the same episode. The lack of Hayden is disturbing.
Always loved that scene on the left. I always say “there’s no (insert thing) here, unless you brought it with you”
man i feel like i'm in a minority but i loved this weeks episode. Is the show as good as I wanted it to be? no, but i love it nevertheless so far
I liked this week's episode as well. But def bummed about lack of Hayden. Hard not to get caught up in plot holes or whatever but if Jedi sympathizers get killed or jailed why wouldn't they go after bail organa. Even if he is in the Senate.
I like how we thought the show was “what did Obi Wan do on Tattooine while watching over Luke” and the answer is “he left the planet to go hang out with Luke’s sister”
This show is fine. Not sure what I expected. It’s nice to see McGregor doing his Jedi thing, and I imagine he’ll be doing that more and more over the next two eps.
The entire show should have been as good as the new episode. One nitpick, I couldn’t really tell, but it looked like Anakin was not wearing a glove, meaning this is pre Attack of the Clones. Which means he should not have had the Skywalker saber yet. But I was able to verify it was that saber when Kenobi takes it at the end, it’s very clear in that shot.
Yea, I noticed that, too. They clearly have no problem with cgi deaging. Not sure why they chose to not do so here.
They had someone play a younger version of himself without digitally remaking a younger face? Ok, maybe I will watch this show after all.
