no. but the few seconds I saw Wade was enough for me feel the intense loss of the rebels when he died.
Just wish people would go to threads about things they like and talk about it instead of spamming about how much they hate a show. Maybe public forums aren't for me I guess.
Discussing a show you don’t like isn’t the same as spam. It’s possible for it to get obnoxious and out of hand, but it’s also obnoxious to limit discussion to praise. There’s value to processing one’s thoughts in a forum like this (which I’ve done elsewhere). And, as someone who hasn’t watched this yet and am on the fence about doing so, I find value in lurking and getting a feeling on how others are responding to it. Feel like this same conversation (with the same user?) happened two and a half years ago with Rise of Skywalker. At a certain point, we gotta stop taking any criticism of things we like, that’s not remotely pointed at us, as personal attacks.
Its definitely a personal problem if you're getting this upset over a few people in this forum saying mildly negative things about star wars content. No one is spamming here either so idk where you got that from. If you're enjoying it then great but also like you said its a public forum so idk why you'd come in here expect no one to voice their valid criticisms of the content from a huge franchise we all probably love/like to varying degrees.
There's bringing up valid criticisms about a show in the thread about that show, then there's saying a movie sucks in a thread that has nothing to do with that movie just to troll someone who liked it, or going into a thread just to say something sucked immediately after someone praised it, or trashing large franchises in every single thread whether related or not
Also this show shouldn’t exist. Maybe we shouldn’t make things just because fans decide they want it.
I'm not enjoying this as much as I was hoping to. Apologies to add to the negativity but this show just doesn't seem to have much going for it. It's not very well done in my opinion thus far
Disney could have just made the show so much better. Getting Ewan and Hayden back felt like an opportunity to correct some of the problems the prequels had. Instead, we got lazy and uninspired storytelling.
From what I understand the last two episodes are written by a writer who has written some good stuff. So I'm banking on that.
I just think Star Wars is at it’s best when its grandiose. Do the sequel trilogy with a damn plan this time. Get Rey, pick up where she left off, and give her a new threat to face. Palpatine gone? Cool, have it so now that he’s finally gone some other galactic threat senses the power vacuum and comes to the galaxy to take over. Fill in the gaps with cartoons and comics. Stop wasting money on shows everyone thinks blow, have horrible writing, or have no stakes because we know where it leads.
I like the show. It’s not what I expected, but I’m still enjoying it. Also seeing rumors of a season 2 being discussed.
You know what I never thought of til just this moment. Why did Vader never go check in on Lars? The only alive family he knew about. He would have found his kid immediately lol.
