i don't think anything has been firmly announced, but, i would expect maybe april or may - boba fett ends in february, maybe we get the trailer for this post-credits of the boba fett finale.

Most speculation I've seen seems to guess at a May 4th start or end date. But I don't know that it's based in any fact.

May 4th would be a great choice

Still hoping they manage to show some restraint with regards to Vader and Obi-Wan, but it's unlikely. That sizzle real took my excitement down a hair.

I fully expect a big dramatic obi wan / vader duel. theyre not gonna be able to restrain themselves.

It's hard to imagine them doing anything better with those two characters than they did with Ahsoka v Vader and Obi-wan v Maul in Rebels. If it's even half as good as those that'd be a win I guess. I was really hoping for a quieter series, but that was pretty unrealistic I suppose. The cast and crew are all solid though, so I'm sure it'll be a decent show nonetheless.

THR is now saying that they've also heard that this will premiere in May as had been rumored.

looks like they're keeping with the Wednesday releases. I like that, nice break in the week with something to look forward to. Shows that premiere on Friday's i never end up watching until Sunday or Monday anyway.

Ope.. not sure what was going on with my browser, but I see it now. Stoked.

Based on the very small image, it looks like the Skywalker saber in his hand.

Really hoping it stays a fairly disconnected from the 'Mando-verse' stuff after seeing how they handled BoBF.

well this is taking place in the time soon after III, right? the Mando-verse is still plenty of ways away from that time.

i have no real reason to have as much faith as i do in this, but, i really believe they won't mess this one up.

Yeah, this is 10 years post Revenge of the Sith. The biggest connection I imagine seeing to the Mando-verse would be if Ahsoka shows up in a flashback, and even then, it's more of a Clone Wars connection at that point.

genuinely would not be shocked if yoda is in it and we get the grogu origin story

Yea, could easily see Yoda communicating with Obi-Wan at some point. I think Grogu isn’t as likely as Yoda, but I agree I wouldn’t be shocked if they stick him in there.

There's a major gap in time from when Grogu was somehow rescued from the Jedi Temple and when Din finds him in Mandalorian season 1. I would not be shocked in the slightest if Obi-wan meets Grogu at some point in this series.

They're already going to have him meet and fight Vader again in it, all bets are off here.
