Andor escorting a young, uh... *checks notes* Nien Nunb? The fans need dem babies in their shows, it’s the proven D+ formula now, haha.

 

I mean, the first episode establishes that he spends most of his time in a cave, on a planet in the Outer Rim that the Empire doesn’t have much of a presence on. It seems pretty plausible to me.

 

I didn't even notice this until a friend pointed it out to me.

 

With the beard and crazy hair it was harder to tell, but yea, totally him. Hoping this means they give him another makeover and have him show up in Ahsoka as Rex.

 

There was no mistaking the voice. He has such a distinct voice.

 

I’ll keep watching but these first two episodes were not great.

 

Also not the two respective shows fault obviously but bad timing that both this and Stranger Things opened with those scenes. Felt really uncomfortable watching especially the stranger things scene after last week. Didn’t know there was a content warning

 

If I was a Jedi in hiding I probably wouldn’t be dressing like a Jedi out in public.

Two episodes in and this is on the same level as book of boba for me.

Well you should definitely finish it if you plan on watching mando season 3.

The fifth and sixth episode of Boba are actually two prequel episodes to s3 of Mando. And then both Mando and Grogu are in the 7th episode.

 

Might as well just get some Beskar and become a Mandalorian

 

Also the last episode if you want to seem reunited, lol still blows my mind this was thrown in to This show.

 

hmm okay now I’m intrigued. I quit after 2 and half episodes. Thank you.

 

It literally becomes an entirely different show for those two episodes. It was truly bizarre.

 

well this has easily been the strongest SW material since OT for me

Obi-wan’s robes look from A New Hope being the official Jedi uniform never made sense since day 1, but that’s a Lucas failing not this show’s fault

 

I wish I felt that way.

 

I really enjoyed the first two episodes of this. My only minor nitpick was that Kumail Nanjiani shoulda grown a beard or changed up his haircut or something - he just looked exactly like every sexy Kumail pic I've seen since he got all jacked up. Same haircut and everything. Him in the costume looked and felt a lot like he was in an SNL skit making fun of Star Wars or something.

 

it doesnt help he is bad at acting and modulates his performances the same way in everything
