Immortals is just next level. Whole album is stellar.

 

this ended up being my metal album of the year. how could it not?

i ordered the vinyl from amazon along with a bunch of others for christmas but this one isnt going to get here til january for some reason

 

I'm dl that Ash Borer album, and spend some time with it before I decide. Though this, Neurosis, and Deftones are all kinda on my shortlist for fav metal albums.

 

I need to revisit the Deftones album. I've been a huge fan since Around the Fur came out but for some reason Gore didn't really stick with me aside from a couple tracks.

 

I absolutely love it, but as we discussed in the thread the mix is not good.

 

Love Gore, but yeah the mix is whack. Still, that album has some really great songs: Hearts/Wires, Gore, Phantom Bride, Rubicon

 

Yeah this is my AOTY, a truly phenomenal record that completley blows me away on each listen. They're playing here in January so I'm gonna have to head up to London for that show for sure.
