Talk Tonight is a top tier Oasis song for sure. If anyone hasn't seen the documentary Supersonic, it's worth a watch!
Do it and I'll follow your lead. Also, ya'll are naming some great b-sides, but it's not even debatable for me....The Masterplan is the best one.
It'd take me too long to finalize a top 50, but here's a top 30: 1. Live Forever 2. Slide Away 3. Champagne Supernova 4. Don't Look Back in Anger 5. The Masterplan 6. The Shock of the Lightening 7. Columbia 8. Cast No Shadow 9. Supersonic 10. Rock n Roll Star 11. Don't Go Away 12. Listen Up 13. Fade Away 14. Morning Glory 15. My Big Mouth 16. Acquiesce 17. Lyla 18. Stay Young 19. Bag It Up 20. Wonderwall 21. Half the World Away 22. Songbird 23. Fucking in the Bushes 24. Stand By Me 25. Talk Tonight 26. The Importance of Being Idle 27. Gas Panic 28. Little by Little 29. Stop Crying Your Heart Out 30. Let There Be Love Wrote this on a whim, honestly after the top 5 everything can be moved around. EDIT: Damn you just reminded me of I Hope I Think I Know. Definitely wanna squeeze that on here somehow.
i really, really like the hindu times. the back half of that record is probably the “worst” they’ve sounded though, with the exception of a few songs
I absolutely adore this song. It hasn't left my workout playlist since 2008 haha. I just really love how different it is from the typical Oasis sound. Dig Out Your Soul is such an underrated album. Definitely my least favorite album of theirs. Not terrible, but it has A LOT of forgettable songs. Call it blasphemy, but I dont think its as great as everyone says lol. Its still in my Top 25, so dont get me wrong I love the song.
I just realized I forgot to include Cigarettes and Alcohol and Whatever. Fuck this band has so many great songs.
"Part of the Queue" is a great underrated little tune I wish got more love. glad we all agree "The Importance of Being Idle" is a classic though
