what’s the deal with different colors for GA?

 

Essentially they are randomly selecting GA folks to be in the front section GA? If your ticket is red when you pull up your bar code then you’ll be in the front area.

Can someone clarify the GA process and what a “red ticket” is? My ticket appears to be red and says “main GA”.

 

Ah thanks, so I guess I’m set. Would have been nice if this was clarified when buying but cool.

 

An absolutely all-time gig for me.

 

This whole color system still sounds off to me. From what I can gather, everyone who has a red ticket bought their tickets during the fan presale. Everyone who bought during the general onsale has gold. Unless anyone can disprove this?

 

I think there was ONLY fan/registered sale so I'm not sure about that either. According to Oasis Reddit, the red tickets are for the front but who knows. If the crowd is anything like SOAD yesterday, most people didn't show up 4 hours early so if it's first come, first serve don't think it'll be an issue.

 

I have red tickets so I hope this is the case! But still seems off. Ticketmaster are the greediest fucks out there. You’d think rather than do a free lottery they’d just charge an extra $200 for “front standing.”

 

Yeah, I can’t figure it out either. Maybe the band initially wanted a full floor but the insurance costs were going to be through the roof? Last night at SOAD it was ticketed split between back and front which should be the way to do it.

 

My sister in law got her ticket when they released the extra tickets for Chicago on Monday or whatever. Was red and It also called out “FRONT GA”

red tickets got into the front premium standing area I mentioned earlier in the thread that I had.

 

my ticket is red and says MAIN GA, not sure if that is any different.

 

Alright according to Reddit, someone called Metlife and the front GA is first come first serve depending on your place in line.

Yeah unless it changes tomorrow my ticket just says Main GA and is red. Haven't heard of anything different for Metlife.

So I got fan presale and was gold GA still.

I guess we shall see how they do things for Met Life.

They were at the pop up shop in Soho when I went on Wednesday

 

The pop up here was picked apart but I didn’t even see a spot where they could have been sold. None in the venue. Saved me like $250 though haha

 

Interesting. My tickets for MetLife are red and look just like Jim’s but like Phil it says “Main GA”

 

Got an email from Metlife, Cast was added as an additional opener. Set times are Cast 6:30, Cage The Elephant 7:30, Oasis 8:45

 

I saw someone walking back to his car with a record (and a poster) around 615 but do not know where it came from

 

Went back to look cus I couldn’t remember and it won’t pull up now since th event was yesterday
