Y'all should make sure you find a place to stay early as I imagine these UK cities will be packed for these shows.
A friend of mine got a presale code but has decided to not even try. He was gonna share it with someone but just learned that the unique presale code MUST be used by the ticketmaster account registered with the receiver's email address. Really sucks that the code will go to waste, but kinda awesome to see the regulations they're putting on this sale.
In the waiting room now. It says if they detect you are using two devices they'll kick you out the queue. You think that is show specific? Or can I use my phone for Wembley tickets and my computer browser for Scotland tickets? Urgh im so nervous
I saw someone say you could open multiple tabs, one for each show you’re trying for. I wouldn’t risk TM flagging you as a bot.
Urghh yeah that was gonna be the plan but I really dont want to risk it. I decided to try for the July 30th Wembley date because that's a weeknight and maybe more people are trying for the weekends? But I booked my hotel for the 27th so I guess that just went to waste lol
That's typically show specific. But it's always good to have two devices, different networks or even VPNs...
Crazy thing was I accidently selected Great Britain at the start so it was accepting my zipcode and eventually I lost the tickets. And I STILL was able to go back to the beginning and grab them again. Don't stress too much people, I think the way they're cracking down on bots and multiple tabs really helped make this a smooth process.
were there still a lot of tickets (standing + seating) when you got in? just a little stressed for tomorrow, heard queue went up to 20000 which isnt that bad for a presale for stadiums, seems to be that they are setting aside most tickets for general sale
It wasnt like it usually is where they show an interactive map with all the available seats. It was just a picture of the seating chart and you had two options, "PRESALE BALLOT STANDING TICKETS" or "PRESALE BALLOT SEATED TICKETS." By some miracle when it hit 2pm it said only 340 people were ahead of me. First time in my ticket purchasing history it didnt immediately say 2000+
this is kinda wild since (for example) Foo Fighters & Green Day's big tours are like $150+ minimum for most of the venues in LA. and those aren't 15+year reunion with skyrocketing global demand tours.
Last night I saw Incubus in an arena and those tickets were $170 each. And they werent even on the floor. The US really needs to get in line with the ticket regulations the UK implements. Sounds like for Taylor Swift her UK shows were pretty reasonably priced compared to the US leg.
