what vibe you looking for? Relaxing, parkland area? Gritty nightlife scene? Queer focused? Historical districts?
Yeah it is a massive park. This festival is the month before so will give you a rough idea of the layout although Oasis will only have the big stage. Manchester city centre is insanely expensive most weekends of the year anyway. We don't really have a very good infrastructure travel wise, if you want any help DM me and I am more than happy to help. If you are only looking for accommodation around the show trying looking in an area called Bury, it's not too far out and is on a direct tram link. Look on Travelodge and premier inn sites, they are two of our biggest hotel chains but only selling direct through their own websites.
South Hackney or North Lambeth, above the river. This will give you great access to the best clubs and also keep you fairly accessible to Hyde Park, Regents Park and the Buckingham Palace grounds.
Honestly, it’s so easy to get about using public transport in London, especially with the underground. If you stay somewhere central you sort of can’t really go wrong. Soho, Camden, and Hackney are all good for nightlife. So maybe look for somewhere with good tube routes to those places and also Wembley Park or Wembley Central stations. As a warning, getting back after the gig if you’re using Wembley Park station is an actual nightmare, and Wembley Central is about a 10/15 minute walk away but much easier to actually get on ha.
Thanks for the tips! I think for now I'll stick with what I've booked, seems central enough. And once I've actually secured concert tickets then I'll go back to stressing about hotels lol
Im going to go for 4 tickets, only need two. If I get extra I’ll gladly share them here for face value. I’m trying for the London and Manchester shows.
I booked a room for the weekend of the 25th & 26th. So hopefully one of those two shows, but if I have to I'll do one of the August dates.
