It’s MUCH better than most of the last two albums. I’d be interested to see if he’s able to get back to the level of output Liam’s been at since his first record.

Oasis reunion is going to happen now, as there’s probably 100 million reasons why (that he didn’t ~need~ before).

i can’t begin to imagine those ticket presale numbers.

Noel, Garbage and Metric on the same bill. Woah.

Definitely will be at the Central Park show! Considering Noel and Garbage both sold out a larger venue (Radio City) on their own in recent years, I imagine this will be a quick sell out. Wonder if they plan on announcing a second night in NYC.

I skipped through it a bit to hear what they were doing. It's impressive, and the songs/band (which are real, not AI) sound good! Give me that as your own band and I'm onboard. Give me that as...this, and I think you should be put in a gulag.

 

So you're saying it's a real band aping Oasis with their own original songs and doing it well?

 

As far as I understand it, the band made an album that sounded like Oasis, and then used AI to replace the singer with a fake version of Liam Gallagher.

 

That sucks, but somehow bothers me less than the whole thing being written by AI

The idea that an AI can become a band's primary writer (in theory) seems terrifying and super weird.

 

The songs rock ... Jesus, "Coming Of Age" is so fucking good ... but agree the cherry on top is VERY icky.

 

It’s fucking wild to think that moving forward people are going to be able to AI generate a feature/vocals from pretty much anyone- living or dead. I mean clearly they already can, but I imagine this will become more and more common in the near future. Lawsuits gonna be flying.

So the only AI portion is just Liam's vocals, right? My understanding is this band "Breezer" wrote the songs, lyrics, and performed it, just inserted the AI Liam vocals.

Bittersweet is kind of heavenly.

 

Breezer should have released it as their own fucking album and not used a stupid, ethically bankrupt gimmick to get attention.

 

I still have no idea how AI like this works.
