Scalpers ... sorry, "professional resellers" have other ways to transfer tickets to get around the Ticketmaster system.

Makes sense. Obviously in general I think scalping is an awful practice, so I get why they put restrictions for sure. I just really wanted to go this show lol

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the transfer option will be fully turned off, no? I actually purchased two tickets for a friend so really hoping I can transfer them to him.

Depending on how close you are, you can just give him your account login.

Yeah that's what I figure the work around will be, and then just have him add it to apple wallet.

I just realized I have "Premium Standing Package" for the Chicago show. Does that just mean I get some goodies and its just GA at that point or are there any other perks?

they’re legit…transfer is turned on the day of or day before the show, already confirmed this with StubHub for the Toronto tickets I purchased.

Late to the discussion, but you could always add the tickets to your apple wallet once they are available and then text/send your friend his tickets from apple wallet.

Be careful moving tickets around in Apple Wallets. They're typically tied to your Apple ID and it gives you an error that they're already in use by another Apple ID.

I had blink tickets to that Palladium show, where transfer was turned off, and I needed to send them to a friend after I ended up not being able to go. He logged into the app and added them to his wallet, but it pulled up an error code that they were already in use by MY Apple ID. So he just logged into the app the day of the show and used that for entry.
