It took me WAY too long to get into .Paak... for some reason I thought I didn't like his voice, which was preventing me from coming back to him much. Now not only do I love his voice, but everything about this guy just continues to impress me more and more. I'd love to see him live one day, his shows seem like they'd be so much fun. Such a genuine talent.

Really focused on lyrics in that review. I can't personally remember once listening to Paak and caring about lyrics

 

Idk, I get how the lyrics are an appeal to him. I think the reason The Dreamer is my fave track of his is bc the lyrics.

Giving this my first listen now. Only a few songs in and I like Malibu's vibe more but this is still pretty fucking great

 

I didn't pick it up because it was $35, but I was very surprised to see that this is out on vinyl already.

 

Not really a surprise when you release an album on Peanut Butter Wolf's label!

I've never really been into Knxwledge on his own, but man, do I love his instrumentals with vocals. Shit. Not a lot of songs on here stand out to me individually, but the overall vibe is wonderful.

 

Did you hear the track he did with Earl this year?

 

I actually didn't because I'm not an Earl guy, but I'll try and remember to listen tonight.
