Huge fan of Make Yourself and Morning View. My little high school mind was blown when I found out they had an album before Make Yourself and how crazy it was. Science is definitely their best.
100% Crow Left of the Murder isn't bad either, but everything prior was their real stride. I also dig Fungfus Amongus
Knowing that we will never get anything like Science again, it makes me appreciate Fungus more. Also that album title is too funny.
SCIENCE, Make Yourself, Morning View, Crow was their run. Everything they’ve released since has been ok to ehh but they all have at least one banger on them.
Doesn't surprise me, unfortunately. I don't know the guy personally, but from bad concert experiences, to constant lineup changes, Chris Volz seems like he's had some problems over the years.
Honestly, musically they are turning into a pretty decent industrial band but Frankie’s vocals are still the weakest point.
Ok but seriously this song fucks. It’s bouncy and the sirens are dope. I think the mix on his voice is better than previous eras have been.
Anyone in here listen to the P.O.D Kast with Bryan Quinby and John Cullen? It’s a monthly podcast, and there are only three episodes so far, but I listened to the one about Limp Bizkit on my commute today and it was very entertaining
Lol no it’s not. They’ve done Significant Other, Follow the Leader, and Around the Fur so far. There’s a pretty good bit toward the end where they create their own Matt Pinfield rants. Only downside is that it’s a bit lengthy, but it kept me entertained
That's good. Length isn't an issue in podcasts as long as they are entertaining. I think the previous A2G was 3 hours long and I never thought damn, this is long!
Definitely gonna check out that podcast. Incubus Make Yourself show is tomorrow night and I'm getting HYPE. Been spinning the record (and Science and Morning View) all week long.
Just listened to the Bizkit episode based on your suggestion. I'm all in on this podcast. Will listen to every ep for sure.
I totally forgot about Pinfield's rant at the end of the record. Too good. I actually met him at Ozzfest one year and argued with him about And Justice For All for 15 minutes. 18 year old me thought it was way cooler to meet Matt than all of the other musicians I met that day.
Never heard of it, but I just skimmed through the episode list and some of the albums they discuss are DEEP cuts. Gonna check some of these out for sure too.
Also, Incubus was great last night. Only downside was the entire show was seated so the crowds were kinda meh. They played Vitamin though which according to setlist.fm, they've only been rotating in every 3rd show of so, so I was excited for that.
