Looked at the setlist and it's pretty based. Most bands with a small setlist like that would stick to the singles but they're just fucking doing whatever and that's just great.
NONPOINT Announces 'The Last Word' Album, Shares 'Is It' Single Called it. No release date for the album yet beyond summer. Boy, that art is atrocious.
They should've just done a Weezer and kept putting the logo in different colors. To The Pain isn't bad as far as imagery goes.
I dunno if I like AI being used as an exchangeable term for low effort. I think that undermines the ability of human beings to be really lazy all on their own merits. Vengeance's cover is notable because it looks like the kind of cover they probably thought was really clever and not cheesy as fuck.
How can you be called Nonpoint and have a double pointed pencil as your album artwork. It’s the details, folks. Disgusting. (+1 for them having some of the worst artwork ever)
Yeah, can’t complain. Just happy to have new music from both of them. The Sevendust album is shaping up to be great.
Fucking yes, I love all these nu-metal adjacent revivals going on. Next we need Stereomud and From Zero, please and thank you.
We are getting Janus and Seven Day Sonnet reunion shows next month, maybe that will inspire From Zero (another Chicago band) to come back
I’m very pumped for the Sevendust album dropping tomorrow. Sure, they’re essentially comfort food music at this point, but I’m just grateful they’re still dropping albums for us! What an insane discography.
I think consistency is an underrated virtue. No, Sevendust is not experimental beyond a surface "radio friendly rock band" experimental sort of fashion, but for a band to be this deep in their career and still be putting out quality, enjoyable work is something to be cherished.
Woah forgot this was out tomorrow. Got a night shift ahead and tomorrow is a holiday so I'm just going to blast it once it hit midnight and probably go on a discography binge afterwards. Not even sure I checked the singles this time around so this is pretty refreshing to dive into it
