New Taproot slaps. Only got five songs in, but I'm loving it. So glad they're back.

 

Red put out a new album today too

 

Haven't listened yet but I'm very glad to hear this and now even more excited.

 

I can barely listen to them anymore but their S/T was one of my favorites back in the day, especially this song. They just released a new version for it.

 

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't check out their new album once it drops. So far Chris Brown's at least kept his shitty opinions out of their music.

I tried listening to some of their recent stuff and it's just awful

I think it's just as good as the rest of their output. Although which are you referring to?

Their cover of "Save Your Soul" is a bitterly ironic choice though.

The first couple of Trapt records are great

DNA to me is a very front-loaded record, and even the frontload is very standard, so I feel you on that.

I haven't listened to Shadow Work since it came out, although I remember at the time being very pleasantly surprised by it, although admittedly I was probably partially just pleasantly surprised it wasn't about MAGA tropes.

 

They are, but I'm also going to give a shout out to No Apologies. Love that album.

 

I don't think I'd ride for them, but I do remember liking the first two records.

 

I won't listen to them in my car, out of fear passing motorists might think I approve of Chris Taylor Brown's attitude or opinions.

Sometimes I worry I'm attributing behavior to my anxiety that might just be me being a fucking idiot.

IDGAF about what other people think about what I listen to in the car.

 

Being serious for a moment, of course this is the correct response, but sometimes I legit can't help but feel unnecessarily embarrassed about some things and choose to listen to them in the comfort of my room instead.

I also only listen to music with headphones unless I'm in my car.

 

I truly don't care what anyone listens to, but if I heard Trapt coming out of someone's car in 2023, I'd make assumptions about their politics

 

Riotspray is going to send me spiraling.
