"DIG through the ditches and BURN through the witches and SLAM in the back of my DRAGULAAAA!!!" (while playing Twisted Metal)
Stray thought: nu-metal tends to, especially by bands who chafe at being considered part of the movement, be classified as having a rapper and DJ, and yet 95% of the bands considered to be nu-metal have neither. I thought about this when considering Moose's question about who the best rapper in nu-metal is, and found I really couldn't think of many at all.
P.O.D.'s New Single 'Drop' To Feature LAMB OF GOD's RANDY BLYTHE, 'Veritas' Album Due In Early 2024 New P.O.D. album Veritas comes out early next year. Has guest spots from Randy Blythe, Cove Reber, and Tatiana Shmailyuk. Exciting stuff.
I didn't know who Cove was without Googling but you're right, that one should be interesting too. I guess POD has played Ozzfest and collabed with lots of metal artists, it's just funny for a Christian band to feature the singer of Burn The Priest on one of their songs.
Seeing Finger Eleven for the very first time right now. They sound much better than I was expecting. Great energy too. 10 Years killed it, as usual.
Me too, although I felt their last album was a bit of a slog. So if they come back re-energized and firing on all cylinders... but I think Corey might just be done with that based on recent interviews.

https://www.theprp.com/2023/09/19/n...with-original-lineup-new-album-ep-on-the-way/ Simon says fuck yeah! So fucking pumped for this. Shut Your Breath is such a bitter angry album, and I love it.
very cool that Holiday Kirk (and others) were able to get those Simon Says records on streaming... and apparently/possibly be the catalyst to getting them to make more music
