It was voted by readers and Limp Bizkit is very much the band to hate on, so I'm not terribly surprised. And if any Mudvayne song was going to be chosen, Dig is a very obvious choice. I'm surprised Chop Suey wasn't up there, if we're going for low-hanging fruit.
it's not bad. nothing overly misoganist or anything (like some of their older stuff) maybe avoid the video, just because it's kinda stupid
SALIVA's JOSEY SCOTT Was Originally Asked To Rap On EVANESCENCE's "Bring Me To Life" feel like this woulda changed things...or not.
The political thing is not new for them. I love it though. It's such a surface level, stoner conspiracy theory politics
Came in here to post the Union Underground thing. Wild that they're headlining when they're the least active band on the bill, but I guess they came up with the tour with Soil. Sounds like they're still working on a new album, which is rad.
Hed P.E. is a band I love for their mixing of genres and their aforementioned "stoner politics", but do not love when they go hardcore misogynist or casual homophobe. I don't know if that latter part is actual homophobia or Jahred just trying to be "shocking" though. I remember him going on record that when Only In Amerika came out, he was just so happy to be off Jive that he went way overboard with his lyrics as a reaction to Jive having censored them for so long.
Interesting, and definitely dovetails with things Lee has said about that song in recent years. I read that was one of the reasons they did the Synthesis version, to bring it closer to what they originally intended. I do wonder if it ended up helping or hurting 12 Stones. I could see either case, seeking out the band based on McCoy's appearance and maybe being disappointed they're a post-grunge band more akin to 3 Doors Down.
sucks that Flaw is there, but also they're the only band on the tour I actually like, tbh. but I would love to hear that one RA song live
