I've been on a Nu Metal kick lately. Nice seeing bands like Death Blooms, Tallah, Cane Hill, and Ravdina bringing the sound back. Who knew they would ever be a revival since so many people shit on the genre for so many years. I grew up with bands like Korn, Slipknot, Coal Chamber, Limp Bizkit, and Kittie so it's pretty nostalgic for me.
This is dope. The most classically sounding Sevendust song they've made in a while isn't it? Wouldn't sound out of place on Seasons or Animosity.
I read Kittie played a new song. That's dope. I also heard Sevendust only played two songs due to a power failure. That's not dope.
36 Crazyfists showing signs of activity on their facebook page... whether they intend on getting back together with or without the singer remains to be seen (more certainly the second option). Anyway this led me to check out the singer's new project: edit: Apparently there was some drama on that facebook page, with someone else in the band airing out their grievances about the singer but then deleting those posts. Ah well, at least I'm now aware of the above project.
Found a Reddit thread about all the drama. Reddit - Dive into anything Sounds pretty much like Brock Lindow is a terrible businessman, more or less.
Oof yeah he comes out looking really bad here and you can see why the band unofficially split up at this point...
Is that a new album? They released so many songs in the last 2 years, it can probably fill a full album
