Great song. Very glad we got something after all this time. Judging by Scott's Instagram post, it does not sound like there is more on the way unfortunately. Seems very much like a one-off track that was recorded to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Inertia.
At a birthday party tonight and someone's 17 year old nephew was listening to Life is Peachy-era Korn in his headphones. Gave that dude a solid fistbump.
I had a friend in my street who was a year older and brought this album back from a holiday and I couldn't get over how many times it dropped the f-bomb during Good God and I immediately went out/asked my parents for the album.
I'm kind of glad I didn't get heavy into popular music until the rise of file-sharing services so I never had to deal much with the embarrassment of asking my mom to buy albums for me.
https://www.theprp.com/2023/02/02/n...c-members-in-the-vein-of-the-mamas-the-papas/ I didn't watch this yet, so I don't know how it is, but I have a good feeling.
Earshot - Letting Go and Taproot - Welcome are being pressed to vinyl for the first time for Record Store Day. That was cool to see. Never listened to either band that much but "Not Afraid" is an all-time nu metal song IMO
https://www.theprp.com/2023/02/17/n...o-help-the-band-earn-their-first-gold-record/ So this makes me sad, because I didn't realize Taproot never had a gold record.
Couldn't for the life of me remember when until I looked it up. It was in 2012 at the House of Blues. Otherwise and Hurt were opening. What a fucking show that was. Hurt is a band I sorely miss.
