I'd probably go Snow Capped, but it's been a while since I've listened to them. I like all their records though.
I can't think of many consecutive album runs better than Bitterness, to Snow Capped, to Rest Inside. I think this calls for an album ranking. Rest Inside The Flames Bitterness The Star A Snow Capped Romance The Tide And Its Takers Time & Trauma Lanterns Collisions & Castaways And then, of course, anything pre-Bitterness because that's very not good.
Their debut EP is a solid groove metal-ish release but I can't get into the rest of their pre-Bitterness material, for some reason. Mine probably goes like this A Snow Capped Romance The Tide And Its Takers Rest Inside The Flames Bitterness The Star Time & Trauma Lanterns Collisions & Castaways
TRUST COMPANY's Original Lineup To Reunite For BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL Performance Inside I'm going apeshit right now, you don't even know. STEP DOWN STEP DOWN STEP DOWWWWWN AM I BREAKING DOWWWWWN
Oh man, I fucking loved these guys. First time I saw them was the music video for "Underlined" and it's just them performing but there's one dude just going to town with a bench grinder on stage, sparks going everywhere. I'm pretty sure I might still have their CD at home.
I went to see Trust Company at a Warehouse Music in summer of 2022 for an album release in-store performance and meet and greet. Still have the signed setlist and some guitar picks. We immediately went from the signing to see Seether at a tiny bar where they played for like a dozen people (this was RIGHT after Disclaimer dropped). I was trying to get my CD signed after the show and had signatures from the entire band minus the drummer. Finally found the drummer in the parking lot with a homeless dude trying to smoke the tiniest roach I've ever seen. Wild times.
I do. Put out through Corporate Punishment. It was basically another Trustcompany album, which I was grateful for. I got into music late in life, so my first ever concert was actually Papa Roach, Trustcompany, and No Warning. Good times.
I debated posting this news, decided not to, but I'm glad someone else did. I've never been a huge Crazy Town fan, but I love that these little nu-metal lineups are a thing that's happening, and we're one step closer to me getting that all nu-metal and only nu-metal festival my younger self dreams of. Although Tantric is post-grunge, so they kind of stick out, but who cares? While we're discussing nu-metal and these bands in particular, I love that (Hed) P.E. is putting this out next month: Melodic Net - We Rock, Do you?
