I’m also anxious to see the confirmed album artwork and what types of variants will be offered for the vinyl format

 

Yeah, I just hope there's an international store option so I'm not shelling out for UK delivery and customs fees.

 

Even with the album announcement, the rollout continues to be weird with the lack of pre-orders. This is the absolute prime time to make the most money from this album.

Hope something is available soon for their sake.

As is Cars but it's a very different vibe. More depressing and emo. Which I like. Their Neighbors EP is a cracking listen too. So basically their entire discography. It's not exactly large haha.

 

You can’t go wrong with Now, Now, Tancred, or Sombear

 

I really hope I love Saved. Threads is such an important album to me. It came out during a very dark period of my life and essentially helped me cope with some tragedies.

 

I’m pretty damn confident there’s something for everyone here. And it’ll surprise a lot of fans. Cannot express how impressed and excited I am by it...I seem to have a new favourite almost every day. So intrigued to see how some of these songs translate live.

 

people just shouldn't be expecting a threads redux. that's for sure

 

Yeah, I was going to say that they'll be disappointed if that's what they want. But it's hard to be disappointed by this. There's absolutely elements of Threads, but Saved is the result of a natural progression in a new direction and it works. Boy does it work.

 

It's going to be like from Sainthood into Heartthrob

I really love SGL so I’m hopeful. How’s the opener?

Definitely. I gave up on that a long time ago. I just hope I can enjoy the record on a deep level and not just a “this is catchy” way.

 

Same. At the very least it’s much more “my shit” right now by a long shot.

Yeah this is where I’m at. I don’t think I would’ve appreciated this record a few years back.

 

I do think people are underselling the connection with ‘Threads’ a little too. The linkage is clearly still there.

 

Hmm... not sure if I’m stoked on that or not.

I hope they release pre-orders tomorrow.

 

Jeez can all of you bragging about about hearing this already get a room! (And play it really loudly so I can listen through the door? Thankz!)

 

It’s really frustrating wanting to literally throw money at them and not being able to. I never thought that would be a complaint I’d have about anybody or anything.
