I think she'd said similar before, in fairness. It's cool that she's open to performing generally though! She seems to be in a good place, so I hope that continues for her. Tangentially, I'm super thankful and feeling lucky we've gotten Saved and now her own album. It would've sucked to end on Threads, given how talented they both are! Excited to see what's next.
It was just okay with a few solid tracks IMO. I enjoy Saved for the most part but it’s always going to be Threads that I go back to the most. Slightly off topic but I wonder if Brad would ever do another Sombear record? I really liked his record from 2013 (where does time go?).
I don’t like the lyrics or his voice particularly but always nice to hear KC and the instrumental kind of gives me Holy Water vibes (been revisiting this album lately and I’ve always loved it but I think I love it even more now)
This album still rules. I’ve honestly found myself returning to songs from it more often than songs from Threads, but there’s enough room in my heart for both
It snowed yesterday and I had to revisit the first Audiotree from the Threads era, fits that weather so well. I’ve been more into pop/electronic driven stuff lately and I think they really captured everything I love about those styles here while still keeping atmosphere and moodiness
