This record makes me want to dance around my bedroom while I figure out weekend plans over a corded phone. This is a good thing.
MJ has grown on me immensely hearing it in the context of the album. Also - the end of AZ might be my favorite part of the album.
Probably a new mix and or master from the single version to fit wit the rest of the album since I doubt the whole album was mixed and mastered when sgl was initially dropped
not all that sonically similar but I see this album taking the same role after laughter took in my listening last year
Some of these beats & synth lines remind me of Love You to Death. This album is definitely incredible and is going to dominate my summer listening for sure
Funny enough, my first listen was underwhelming... but I was really into the singles. Considering the singles had to grow on me (at least Yours and AZ) I think/hope I'll end up loving this record the same way.
i wasn't big on any of the singles but i think im gonna really love this record more than i had anticipated.
Really dying to listen to this, but I’ve had a migraine for 4 days straight now and don’t want that to cloud my first impression. Pray for me.
The one song I'm not feeling that much is "Knowme" but I'm giving it more listens. Loving the album as a whole.
I was able to listen to this album a few more times. It is a jam. You can see me swaying in my office chair and nodding my head with the music.
Sad to see so few people at this show. Assume it’ll pick up a bit, but they’re on in like 15 minutes and there’s about 40 people here, if that. So excited though! Got some merch and I’m sat on this cutesy little balcony just jigging up and down in my seat.
They're playing a very small room in July here in Atlanta & I don't think it's even close to selling out. I'm STOKED though.
London wasn't very busy either, felt about 3/4 full.. The encore was kinda weird actually because the room was only about half full, if that. When I saw Turnover there it was sold out, and definitely felt that way. Hard to get drinks at the bar etc, but this didn't feel like that.
