I still think it's awesome how much they've transitioned with this record, musically and in all visual aspects too.

 

Definitely think it’s gonna be better once it’s heard cohesively with the rest of the album too

 

I'm not super into the new direction they're taking, new songs aren't bad but they aren't hitting me like their previous stuff

I thought I was going to miss the vibe they had on Threads but I love this new direction. I don’t remember the last time I was this excited for an album. Maybe the last Thrice album.

got super excited because Spotify have put Saved up (says 12 tracks), but only shows the 4 tracks so far when you open it.

 

My local record store says they bumped vinyl date to 6/1. Wooooof.

Also, couldn't wait any longer and had a friend play me his stream of the record. I really like it. Very cohesive with some consistent themes - driving and religion come to top of mind. Feels like the entire thing is really meant to be consumed at once. Closing track and title track have been stuck in my head for the past 12 hours.

 

This shit is dope.

 

How different is the old stuff? What is the record youd recommend the most.

old stuff is more moody, shoegaze influenced indie pop

 

Threads always reminded me of Transatlanticism by Death Cab. It’s a perfect winter record for me.

I can't believe this hasn't leaked. I'm glad it hasn't for their sake but the selfish part of me wants to be bumpin' this already.

I've accepted the death of leaks, and now I'm reduced to the lowly state of missing streams :/

 

I thought it was suppose to be released today. Then when I tried to listen to it this morning on Apple Music, I was disappointed lol
