Curious if this will be a surprise album drop or just a single + announcement.

 

Even though the physical he’s ever had at time of any release has only been CD, there’s still been some type of rollout. A full album drop would be nice

I was disappointed in this release overall. But...Some of his best material.

Joe is on Buddy Nielsen's podcast this week. Never got around to checking out this project, but digging it a bit

Definitely seems full band/heavier focus based off the singles

 

Consistently been one of my favorite artists since I saw him as the first opener for real friends on one of their wild 5 band tours. Excited about this release and the more full band sound that I feel is his best. The EP with travis barker is the last time he fully leaned into that sound.

 

There were plenty of songs on his last album that had the full band sound though, they were the best songs on the album too

 

Spring 2017. I’ll never forget that tour because the AC broke in the venue and everyone was soaking wet the entire show

Missed that tour because of work but I did see him with Thrice. Did they have a bassist for those shows?

 

I don't think so. I believe it was just him and another guitarist at the time.

 

You are correct. Just meant consistently across the whole release.

 

Must have been the only time; he played like 5 notes a song haha
