Death is great on its own. Should have been a single. Can’t do the intro or buck.

What about buck aren’t you liking? I’m liking it as a high energy track at the front of the album.

I find the two feature tracks (“blood” and “pain place”) to be lacking. And I think their really needs to be one of “fake friend” and “pretend” as I feel like they both try and do the same thing structurally.

The delivery/timing of the “I gotta keep it a buck...” line and the chorus are pretty bad imo. Verses are great

I'm really liking this, more than anything else I've heard by him so far. I really enjoy Pretend.

That’s what kills if for me. Which is frustrating to like a song so much until a certain part. Haha.

Finally got to digest this a little more. I definitely overplayed some of the singles, so getting the album to flow took a little time. I agree that death seems a little odd within the larger album. Barely bleeding is immediately into my top 5 favorite songs of his. Overall, very happy with it.

They fixed your brain when you were young.

Interesting record for sure. Initially wasn't too keen on it, but some of the choruses just kept popping into my head and I had to listen to the song. Chorus on Pretend is a certified banger.

Thinking Crave, love or chemistry, and barely bleeding are the best non-single tracks

Seriously! So sad it hasn’t caught on, such a powerhouse of a song. Really shows nn has significant vocal chops

Did he go independent from Fueled by Ramen? He mentions "independent musician" & "reapers realm records" on his Twitter as well.

Also wonder if this new record will be more rap influenced or rock or both. Guess we'll find out next week.

Yep, from what I can work out he's going independent on this one.

From the outside, it didn't seem as if FBR did much of anything for him.

I was just thinking this too. Last album did nothing for me.
