I don’t follow his career at all but it feels like this guy releases a new album every 2 months lol

I couldn’t either.. the more new stuff he puts out I feel like he gets further away from the uniqueness I liked about him on the earlier stuff

I feel the more he puts out the better he gets. He’s not tied to one genre. He has his sound but it changes on each album.

Remember discovering him on SoundCloud (!) in 2015/6 when he dropped Deadbeat Valentine and had a feeling he'd be blowing up. Love how he really wears his influences on his sleeve no matter the style of the track. Can't say everything he's done has hooked me, but I can appreciate his progression as an artist and how he doesn't limit himself to any one genre.

Plus, his is One Take releases feel a lot more like his older stuff, with the American Football style guitars.

I know it’s almost a one off, and it probably didn’t do as well as he hoped, but “Pieces of You” is one of the best pop punk songs I heard in the last half decade.

I really wish he had done a full record like that one.

Agreed that Pieces of You style music is what I want from NN at this point. The emo-rap Soundcloud hype seems to be slowing down, but he can lean into the pop punk side of this project and really catch on
