Someone tell me how scary this is. Can I bring my mom, who generally does not like horror movies but is ok with other vampire stuff/other versions of Nosferatu?

 

I'd call this a horror movie. A few jumps and definitely a creepy vibe. I don't know your mom but mine would be terrified just from the opening.

 

Goodness gracious this absolutely ruled. Will be watching this every Christmas season now purely because I will remember seeing this in theaters during the holidays.
