THE PLOT THICKENS

 

Yeah I’m excited for this movie but it’s not something I’d watch on Christmas Day. They should release it in October smh

 

Just knowing Eggers there’s going to be some gorey af vampire sucking

 

Yea. I did enjoy seeing the Lighthouse in October when released. Now I associate it with Halloween in the best way

 

I like the idea of it during Christmas. Probably going to be a cold, frosty movie. The Green Knight is a Christmas movie for me too for similar reasons

I think we already all knew that in December

 

I believe footage was shown at Cinema Con which spawned the tweet

 

Wish this was releasing in Sep/Oct instead of Dec. This is a spooky season film, not a Christmas season film smh. Cinemacon footage sounds pretty nice though. Curious to see how it will look since its being color graded to match 19th century romanticism.

I think it’s a fairly easy bet that this will feel like a spooky season film, lol. It’s also pretty obvious that the best time to release it is the end of the year, because of that whole loser game called “awards season.”
