This kicked ass in Dolby. Liked it for the most part. LRD was good, but in no way is it any kind of award-worthy performance. ATJ seemed to get worse as the movie went on. Was really funny to watch this back-to-back with Sonic 3. So many insane moustaches.

Just rewatched the Witch for the first time in a while.

Between that, the Lighthouse, and Nos, Eggers seems to love stories centered around the existentialism of “am I inherently evil or does it come from an outside force?”

Final scene in this was wild, seeing Nosferatu scream and wither away in the sunlight

Also, seeing this reminded me of The Last Voyage of the Demeter, which was also quite good (imo)

 

Also, did Nosferatu intentionally want to suck the blood of the wife and die like that?
