It’s really good! There are a few reworked versions of SOS songs on there which really took me by surprise everytime one came up. Yeah I’m not sure what was going on in 2009 that had me so disinterested in this, but I guess better late than never.

It does indeed, but Pollyanna is the goat from this era imo.

 

I still listen to Pollyanna regularly. Add them to bands I wish that had another two or more records takes about recently (Moving Mountains and moneen being the other two).

I know Cassino isn’t really the same style, but everything they put out is incredible.

 

I’ve been enjoying Yellowhammer. I wish both projects could be on the go, but I’m glad we have Casino.

 

I fucking love Cassino. Everything they put out is so great.

dumb question: but do we pronounce the name as ‘casino’ or something else?

Nick does a lot of reimagining of his old songs, but this is the first time I remember him doing a Northstar song. Also, Cassino is the fucking best.

 

Man his voice just rules.
