Idk if I've ever ordered for them before so my skepticism could be 100% unnecessary haha. But between the unfamiliarity and all the shipping date change stuff, just thought it might be the safer route

 

Amazon is typically legit. SRC Vinyl is the one who typically has a lot of delays.

 

Welp I forgot to cancel my Amazon order and it came in the mail today lol. Hard to be bummed about my own procrastination when I finally have this on wax, will be spinning it all weekend

Wait, you got yours already??? Mine didn’t even ship yet. I ordered mine on Sept 1 :(

I placed my order on August 31st, looks like it shipped on November 30th. Wasn't aware it shipped at all because I leech on my mom's Prime account like a chump and she gets all the notifications

Lucky. My estimated arrival is Dec 7-9. Guessing it’ll ship Monday or Tuesday.

Finally receiving Pollyanna today!

 

I placed my order back in August and received an email that Amazon cancelled my order.

 

Really? Amazon e-mailed me several times asking me if I wanted to cancel because at the time they had no idea when or if it was getting pressed. But I stuck with it.

Can't you re-order now?

 

I haven't tried to re-order. I got the cancellation email about a week/week and a half ago.

Second time is a charm. I ordered some books on Amazon for my nephews for Christmas, so I said why not on a second try.

 

Okay so the version of “Rocket City” that I always had was a lo-fi sound, and when I got to the finale of my vinyl I was like wtf because it sounded so clean. But then I checked on Spotify and it’s the same. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

Also lol that tracks 3-6 of Pollyanna are misspelled on Spotify. Someone at Triple Crown really wasn’t paying attention.

 

they have never gotten the tracklisting right on anything. "two zero two" was "two zero zero" on itunes back in the day (maybe still?). idk why this is so hard hahah.

 

Y’all ever have a band with an album you adore and then for some reason you never check out their other records? This is me with Cassino. Kingprince is incredible and idk why I slept on it for so long considering my love for SOS.

Sorry for bumping the Northstar thread with this but I’m not about to make a Cassino thread for this post haha

 

There’s a thread for the most recent Cassino EP. but it doesn’t matter. Oddly enough, I’m the exact same way. SOS is one of my all time favorite records, yet I’m not even sure I’ve listened to Kingprince from start to finish.
