Just realized "Is This Thing Loaded?" turns 15 this October..... aside from making me feel old, I really want an anniversary show, but I won't hold my breath.

Jake Fisher, their bassist, died this past week. Cassino posted about it on Facebook. Such a bummer.

 

Did you guys see there is suddenly a pre-order for Polyanna on Amazon?

Eh, so I ordered the Pollyanna vinyl via Amazon and now I'm getting this:

 

If you got an order in you should be okay. I waited too long.

 

Nah, I'm pretty sure there is nothing happening. Even my order details say no expected shipping date and they're waiting to hear more and they'll email 'when available'. I highly doubt it sold out or anything. It wasn't publicized anywhere.

 

Did you contact Nick via Cassino on social media? He might to give some insight. I'd be willing to bet it was a pretty small run in terms of vinyl.

 

I didn't tweet him because of the passing of Jake. feel it'd be inappropriate to ask about a preorder when he's dealing with that.

Yeah, so I don't think this Pollyanna vinyl repress even exists, haha. I don't know if Amazon jumped the gun, or accidentally put up a pre-order or something. But I ordered it and haven't received any order updates or anything and it's been two weeks. Originally it said it'd be released on 9/4/2017 (which was Labor Day, so an odd date to release something - making me think even more it was a mistake). Also odd, that no outlets shared the news of a repress.

My order status still says "Delivery Date Pending" and it still says 'currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." when you click on the actual product in my order status. I don't even think you can search for it on Amazon.

Tweeted Nick, but no response.

Anybody have updates on the repress?

 

I just got an e-mail from Amazon over the weekend asking me if I still want the item. It says "We're encountering a delay in shipping your order. The new delivery date is indicated below"...however when I go to 'new estimated delivery date' it says "Not available. We'll email you as soon as we have more information"

I don't think I'm ever getting it.

Yes, received same thing although my estimate is Dec 8...anyway, I think preorder is live again.

 

Jammed the hell out of Pollyanna yesterday. Prob gonna do it today too tbh.

Heads up, Triple Crown put up a vinyl pre-order for Pollyanna. Gonna cancel the Amazon one since I'm still skeptical about it ever actually shipping hah

 

grabbed the vinyl preorder today, sort of like a dream come true pressing

 

Why is that? I order the majority of my albums via Amazon and rarely ever have issues or delays (unless it's out of their control).
