That’d be nuts… and also, with that said, I kind of interpreted the final bit of the music video portraying some form of purgatory… Pretty wiiiiild!
Here’s the meaning of the song, per Marcus: “Dante is a song about losing someone close to us. As we try to process our grief, we are constantly asking ourselves questions, memories clouded with reminders of our loved one’s pain, wondering if there’s anything we could have done."
I saw someone speculate that it was maybe about Ryan Siew from Polaris. I wonder if that’s who he’s referring to
"I hate the silent reminders of nothing but heartache Who's to decide what is right when your choice was cathartic I can't forget What I regret But I accept my punishment I can't forget Our disconnect The things that we love just hurt us in the end" Song is 10/10. Lyrics are hitting me, but in different ways than what was mentioned above.

Me and @Tomozauras saw them in Melbourne tonight and they absolutely dominated. Stacked bill with ERRA, Banks Arcade and Landmvrks opening too. Here’s Josh crowd surfing haha
It’s very good! The officially released version will feature Ian Kenny from Karnivool and Birds of Tokyo. Can’t wait to hear his vocal on this
I'm probably in the minority here but I don't think this needed a re record at all, I really liked the dry drums on the original record and how it feels kinda muted and mechanical and detached and this just sounds like, well, everything else
node in its original form is one of the worst sounding albums ive ever heard and this just sounds like alien prod so ill take it even if it still sounds a little weird the single mix of rot is still the best version of that song prob
I still love og Node as is so this feels kinda unnecessary. Marcus is going off on these new versions though.
