I just realized she hasn't had a solo single credited to only herself yet, that's kinda wild.

The basketball scene blew me away. It feels like the birth of a superstar

I’ve seen her name around for a bit but never checked her out (mostly because all her singles were collabs with people I’d mostly rather not listen to). I also didn’t realize she was from Fifth Harmony until a few days ago. But “Motivation” is an absolute smash. Love it so much. Gonna check those Calvin Harris tracks soon.

 

Those collabs are all excellent, it's a shame none of them gained enough traction for her

 

Dancing With A Stranger was huge, hit the Top 10 and is always on the radio

Why would you think that? She just released a remix of Motivation with 21 Savage, she was announced as the first brand ambassador for Fenti x Savage, she just had a V Magazine feature.... Welcome to Generation Normani | V Magazine. Not sure what you think is missing

I think she's being very careful about her music which I get this album will rule when we eventually get it

 

Her trajectory has been pretty amazing so far. A long string of singles with high profile collaborations (Sam Smith, Khalid, Calvin Harris) which spurred two HUGE singles (Love Lies and Dancing With A Stranger). They let those two songs linger for a long time before releasing her first solo single which had a HUGE initial wow factor, spurred a "challenge," the video has nearly 70 million views. When that slowed down a bit, released a 21 Savage remix.... she isn't playing the quick and fast game, this is a long boil, and I think it's going to pay off really well

 

I believe you! Knowing RCA's history with other artists, I'm just remaining cautious. I just want her to get huge already, but hopefully 2020 will be her year.
