this is awesome

the guitar in the last chorus(?) of Full Circle sounds like a jet turbine. big Funeral Singer vibes from Trace Levels. If Loss Than Leader sounds straight off Meridional and I love that. Translational is enormous. and the ending of Anna goddamn

 

sitting in my car rewinding "BUUUUUURRRRRRNNNNNNN BABY BURN" and cackling maniacally

 

"If Loss Then Leader" was the one that really grabbed me before "Anna". album didn't blow me away but it was def entertaining

 

Yeah I wouldn’t say this blew me away on first listen but it definitely kept my head bopping for 45 minutes. It took until Transitional for a track to really grab me though

 

This record is everything I personally hoped for. Very excited to see them live tomorrow night!

 

Transitional is so good.

 

Yeah I think this is not quite as high as Wrongdoers and Polar Similar, compared to PS especially I don't think it holds a consistent mood quite as well. But most bands never reach heights like that in the first place so I digress. I also spoiled myself by playing the 4 singles to death. There are a metric fuckton of home run moments on this

I really don’t see how any fan of NJ (from any era) couldn’t find something on All Hail to love.

This record is so goddamn good.

Anna fuckin riiiiiiiiiiiips holy shit

Great album, not sure where it would fall in the discog for me but it's good good shit

 

I can easily see this making the top 3 for me. It feels so well rounded and there isn’t a single song I dislike on this.

I could do without the interludes and I think the weakest song is [Mind Over Mind] but that’s literally the only two negative things I have to say.

 

This albums is nuts. Translational is a monster.

Cory continues to write some of the most satisfying vocal melodies in the genre, that’s for damn sure

 

that breakdown in "Translational" should be outlawed in seven counties

 

Wow loving the end of "Trace Levels of Dystopia"

 

One listen through and "Anna" is an easy favorite for me. Man, that track was nuclear.

 

"Anna" gets so damn heavy.

 

I like this album a lot but I don’t think it’s their best. I’ll give it way more listens and maybe it’ll work its way up there.
