Going to the Philly show tomorrow. Gonna rain. World Cup games scheduled for today and Saturday. City is gonna be a mess. Not really looking forward to all that’s involved with going to this show. My wife is pumped though, so that’s good I suppose.
Looking like the rain could hold out but we will see. Nothing will be as bad as the Zach Bryan Linc show rain
Doesn’t look like rain anymore. Woo. Haven’t been to a show this big in a while. Saw Billy Joel/Elton John here probably 15 years ago. We are 2nd row in a small section (215) so hoping the crowd isn’t too awful.
Show was good. Pretty much what I expected. Our seats were in a good spot and the hall of fame concessions and bathrooms were clutch. Set design was fun to watch. We bought the $23 mixed drink in the souvenir fish bowl as our merch. Dudes outside were making bank on bootleg shirts. Felt weird to not have to watch for crowd surfers or throw some elbows.
More I think about the show, the more I like it. Definitely made me appreciate songs on this album that I thought were boring before. Standing Still might have been the new highlight. Maine live rocked. Orbiter was so good. Happy he played All Them Horses, shame he seems to pick between that and Dan rather than cutting something else (fanbase is rabid for Willing and Able for some reason, I still think it’s boring)
My wife is going tomorrow here in Cincy and the tickets are in The Front Porch. They’re calling for 98 with a realfeel of 111
Lol so I haven't listened to much of him but the fursuit head he put on on stage my partner knows because they have the same fursuit maker, which a lot of the time means they have a group chat they can all talk to each other in. I went to AC last year but missed out going this year, whoops!
If anyone's heading to Fenway tonight, the nonprofit I work at (BAGLY) will be tabling at the Busy Head Project activation- come say hello!
