God I'm hoping we get more in the direction of "Wrong Side." That song is so good and the drum sounds are incredible.
I've listened through the Tour EP a few times now and the more I listen the more I appreciate both the introspective version of Noah (that Carry the Ghost had) and the appeal to branch out creatively. While Carry The Ghost is one of my favorite records to date (and yes I have the vinyl) this EP is so good...All Your Love, God Don't Talk To Strangers are amazing. It's really cool to see other people appreciating his music as much as I do...my wife is always picking on me for it lol
Looks like the “White Noise B-Sides” officially released today: White Noise B-Sides by Noah Gundersen
It's weird how he didn't include all of them on a digital release. Some Nights was the song that got left off the four vinyl EPs he put these tracks out on so it's not even like the same song got left off twice. Weird.
He's been sharing clips on his IG Story for the last week and it sounds incredibly poppy. The latest one has a gospel choir in there... one thing's for sure, it's different than anything else he's done so far. I'm very excited to hear where he goes next.
This guy's such a great songwriter that I know I'll love it no matter how it sounds. But yeah, that first IG clip in particular sounds very promising.
Im really into that track so I decided to check out Scott Ruth’s stuff and I’m super glad I did. You can definitely tell he’s heavily influenced by Noah. Sometimes almost to the point of mimicry lol. Regardless, this song is excellent.
Thanks for the Scott Ruth rec, really liking his stuff! The Take it Back single is produced by Noah, don't know if the rest of his upcoming album is.
They have recorded something recently, haven't they? A Young in the City album would be a dream come true.
“Heart of the Matter” is such a great song. It’s like Noah pretending he’s in Jimmy Eat World or something.
