That's just the way that YouTube person titled it, as Noah played it at a Glorietta show. I'm listening to the WHITE NOISE B-Sides again... man these are great. Wish he's officially release them on streaming services.
Any of you fans of Silver Torches? He mentions a friend Noah in one of his songs and since they're both from Seattle I'm gonna take a guess he's talking about Gundersen.
Yep. They’re friends. I’ve seen Silver Torches open for him twice. Look up the title track from his newest record “Let It Be a Dream”. Fantastic song.
Yeah I've been a casual fan of Silver Torches for a while now, just had never seen the lyrics to the song where he references Noah. The whole "let it be a dream" album is great.
Hey guys, long time Noah fan here and I’ve been dying to listen to the b-sides since I heard about them months ago.. if anyone could show me the light I would be super thankful! I see him every time he comes around the DC area, gah he never disappoints.
I can see White Noise being one of my favourite albums of the last couple years if songs like Alright, God Don't, Some Nights or Last of the Leavers (personal favourite) were mixed into it, but I appreciate what Noah was going for and why these great songs aren't on the album. I love the album as is, (would probably love it more without Cocaine and Bad Actors) but as it stands now we got two great albums of material to listen to so who can complain.
Gah, after having the B sides on repeat for 3ish weeks I am totally obsessed. I appreciate you guys so much! Not sure how a few of these didn’t make the album... they’re phenomenal.
No, I haven't. I was actually just listening to White Noise for the first time in a while today and wandered into this thread as a result.
This is great. I still jam that record all the time and really enjoy the variety on it. If folks didn't already hear it, they put out three more songs on an EP called "Mas Glorietta", I think Strangers Bed is their best song.
