this is quite a bit better than I gave it credit for. still do not care much for older or out of time tho. don't really like almost r&b vibe of those

 

He played a new song on Rockwood Music Hall's IG story tonight and it sounds absolutely incredible. Some of his best lyrics yet.

I’ve never listened to any of his pre ledges stuff – any of it good?

 

Definitely worth listening to, Family is especially great (not sure if it's officially an album or an EP or what). The songwriting isn't quite as refined but you can hear where he'd go in the future.

 

Family is incredible from top to bottom. "Garden" is probably a top 3 Noah tune for me. Just so beautifully written.

Brand New World has some great songs too. ESPECIALLY "Moss On a Rolling Stone". Also god-tier for me.

Some really good stuff on this album too. "The Courage" was the name the Gundersen family went by for a while.

 

would also highly recommend "Middle of June" off of Saints & Liars

WOW! They're playing "Liberator"... One of his most underrated tracks for sure.
